The first thing noticed at Yonat Midbar’s studio is the intoxicating scent of natural soaps, oils and desert plants that she incorporates into the natural cosmetics.. After years of study – degrees in biology and desert and anthropology studies – and having established a family, Yonat realized that in order to fulfill her dream and her addiction to soap-making, she needed to sell them, so she will have an excuse to make more. To pass the experience to others, Yonat offers workshops for making natural soaps and natural cosmetics. And to complete the experience you can go on a tour to get to know the desert herbs, according to Bedouin tradition, and connect to the wilderness of the desert through the aromas and flavors of desert tea made from plants gathered there.
